Peel, wash and dry the potatoes. Cut them into fine slices and fry them in butter in a frying pan. When they are cooked butter a gratin dish. Half fill the dish with potatoes, season. Scrape the outside of the reblochon cheese slightly in order to clean it. Cut it open width ways. Place half the cheese on the potatoes then add the remaining potatoes. Cover with the remaining half cheese, scraped side down. Preheat the oven to 280) / th9. Place the dish in the very hot oven. Serve with a garlic salad or even fried bacon and onions. |
